  ABC Companies Welcomes New Vice President of Marketing

A seasoned executive with extensive marketing and business development experience driving growth for leading global brands joins ABC.

ABC Companies, the market-leading transport solutions provider has named Mr. Thom Peebles as the new Vice President of Marketing. Ms. Ashley Cornell, who has served as marketing lead for the past three years, will transition to a new role as Vice President of Strategic Accounts where she will focus on supporting existing accounts and developing new employee-shuttle programs throughout the fast-growing Northern California market region.

Mr. Peebles joins the company from JCB, a UK-based global leader in the manufacture of construction and agricultural heavy equipment where he served as Vice President of Marketing, North America. For more than 20 years, Mr. Peebles has served in various marketing leadership roles including Director of Brand Management for Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc., and Director of Business Development, as well as Brand Marketing Director at Michelin North America.

Mr. Peebles will oversee all aspects of ABC Companies' brand marketing, digital, and media communications to deliver a best-in-class experience to customers across all of ABC's North American locations and online.   FlixBus officially begins U.S. operations

The first American FlixBus fleet is hitting the streets, starting with 180 connections across California, Nevada, and Arizona. The launch marks the 28th country of operation for the German-born tech and travel pioneer  -  and the company's biggest launch to date.

FlixBus' inaugural destinations include the region's most popular hubs like Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and others, offering one-way and round-trip routes in a luxury motorcoach at prices that often cost less than a coffee.

 

The first American FlixBus fleet is hitting the streets, starting with 180 connections across California, Nevada, and Arizona. The launch marks the 28th country of operation for the German-born tech and travel pioneer  -  and the company's biggest launch to date.

After flourishing throughout Europe in five years' time, advancing from market newcomer to the continent's fastest-growing long-distance travel provider, the U.S. launch is the first phase of a larger plan to bring 1,000-plus daily connections to the American west coast by year's end.

  Lion Electric Co. Unveils Minibus, Announces Type A School Bus Plans

MONTREAL - The Lion Electric Co. unveiled the eLionM, its new electric midi-minibus, on Wednesday at a summit here, and announced plans for an electric Type A school bus.

The eLionM, a low-floor vehicle, is built to meet paratransit/transit/urban requirements, and is capable of traveling 150 miles (240 kilometers) on a single charge, according to Lion Electric Co.

Lion introduced the new bus at Movin' On by Michelin, an annual international summit on sustainable mobility.
