Each coach is powered by a Cummins engine with Allison transmission; and include many passenger conveniences such as 110v USB outlets w/inverters, Wi-Fi, two large REI 23" monitors and 4 additional 15.6" monitors throughout the coach, passenger shades. One of the coaches is also ADA equipped. Passengers will recognize the luxury before they even enter the coach with the two-tone white & grey paint and beautiful graphics around the coach.

Based out of Troy, Michigan, ALLSTAR Chauffeured Services has taken delivery of two new 2019 Van Hool CX45 coaches with many upgraded amenities that compliment their premium vehicle line. Each coach is powered by a Cummins engine with Allison transmission; and include many passenger conveniences such as 110v USB outlets w/inverters, Wi-Fi, two large REI 23" monitors and 4 additional 15.6" monitors throughout the coach, passenger shades. As they enter the coach, the full leather seating, contoured enclosed parcel rack with hydrographic doors, wood flooring and hydrographic lavatory door truly make a luxurious statement.

Celebrating 25 years in the transportation industry, ALLSTAR Chauffeured Services primarily services the Detroit, Michigan area, however continues to expand its area covering out of state trips to New York, Washington D.C. and Cleveland. The company currently employs 71 people and has a total fleet of 47 vehicles including 8 motorcoaches. They began purchasing coaches in 2016 with 2 new Van Hool models.

Customer alerts can be setup by email or text to notify them of a vehicles status as well.   Masabi launching mobile ticketing app in Pennsylvania

 The new mobile ticketing app, WestMore Tix, offers an upgrade to current ticketing options by enabling riders to purchase and display tickets directly on their smartphones.

Masabi and Greensburg, Pennsylvania's Westmoreland County Transit Authority announced passengers can now purchase tickets to ride the bus via a mobile app. The new mobile ticketing app, WestMore Tix, offers an upgrade to current ticketing options by enabling riders to purchase and display tickets directly on their smartphones.

WestMore Tix is now available for download from Google Play and the Apple App Store.

Passengers using Westmoreland's mobile ticketing app, powered by Masabi's Justride Mobility Platform, can pay for tickets using a credit or debit card, or via digital payment services such as Masterpass and Apple Pay. Monthly, 10-Trip, and single passes for all three zones are available. Once purchased, passengers activate their tickets and then show them to the driver when boarding the bus.

"This will not only help to modernize our operation, but it will also offer the riders of Westmoreland Transit a convenient and immediate way to purchase tickets," said Meghan Yuhouse, director of operations at Westmoreland Transit.

Staff also have access to the Justride Hub, the powerful cloud-based back office, where they are able to access an extensive interface for customer service, concessions, fare updates, and revenue and usage reports.   Private equity firm completes acquisition of Coach USA, subsidiaries

Variant Equity completed the acquisition of Coach USA Administration, Inc. and its subsidiaries from Stagecoach Group plc in a transaction valued at approximately $271.4 million.

Headquartered in Paramus, N.J., Coach USA is a provider of passenger transportation and mobility services, including intercity bus, public transit, employee transportation, campus shuttle, and airport transportation services.

The company operates through a number of marquee brands, including megabus.com, which provides intercity coach services. With over 4,500 employees and 2,200 buses, Coach USA has an extensive reach throughout the U.S. and Canada.

"With a history that dates back to 1922, Coach USA has been a consistent leader in the passenger transportation industry," said Variant Equity Managing Partner Farhaad Wadia.
