Tom Wagner has rejoined Motor Coach Industries (MCI) and will work alongside Patricia Ziska, Vice President of Private Sector Sales, who will retire at the end of the year after more than a four-decade career with MCI.

Upon Ziska's retirement, Wagner will lead MCI's team of regional sales vice presidents in the U.S. and Canada, the company announced. The team sells new MCI models and pre-owned coaches to private sector operators.

After joining MCI's public sector sales team in 2005, Wagner built a 15-year career at MCI, rising to a vice president position before leaving in 2020 and joining another original equipment manufacturer........................

The International Motorcoach Group (IMG) selected The Bus Network (TBN) to modernize its website quoting tools.  TBN has helped IMG launch new functionality on its website. This tool allows customers to plan their charters with visual trip planning. Requests are then sent to IMG operators who serve the area the trip will be traveling.

"We are excited to be the first network to make these powerful tools available to our customers," said Bronwyn Wilson, president of IMG. "We have seen that customers are shifting their online shopping expectations. This change is a huge leap forward in delivering a more familiar and effective experience when they book charters with IMG operators. This initial launch is the first stage of an ongoing project to enhance customer and IMG operator online experience."...............................

  New York, Federal Transportation Agencies Team for School Bus Safety

  From School Bus Fleet:

New York City's Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS), the city Department of Education (DOE), and the U.S. Department of Transportation Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (USDOT Volpe) have launched a joint effort to improve school bus safety.

Working in partnership, DCAS, DOE, and USDOT Volpe will study ways to improve the design and operation of school buses in New York City to reduce crashes and increase safety. The effort will have a particular focus on electric school buses as the city transitions all school buses to electric by 2035. The study will result in a Safe Fleet Transition Plan to be published by the end of the year.................................
