The United Motorcoach Association team is expanding with the addition of Charlotte Simmons to the staff.  Simmons is working at UMA headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. She comes to the role with marketing experience. She’s a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she earned a degree in Communication: Business Applications.

She will be working closely with Carrington Blake, Director of Meetings & Membership, in preparing for the upcoming 2023 UMA Motorcoach EXPO, with a primary focus on membership recruiting and retention..................................

   Bus accident in Kentucky leaves 18 students, driver injured, three Airlifted

A school bus driver was partially ejected and pinned under the bus she was driving after crashing it near Salyersville, Kentucky, on November 14, according to local news reports.

Magoffin County school officials told WKYT that the bus dropped off the pavement and into a ditch, then reentered the roadway. It appeared the driver overcorrected, crossing both lanes and over an embankment, striking and cutting a utility pole in half. The bus landed on the passenger side. Kentucky State Police are investigating the cause of the crash...................................
