Peter Pan Bus Lines is adding 15 new clean-diesel J4500 coaches to its fleet.
The acquisition continues a long relationship between Motor Coach Industries (MCI) and Peter Pan, based in Springfield, Massachusetts. The delivery, Peter Pan's 45th MCI vehicle purchase in recent years, will support the company's expansion in the Northeast. Peter Pan recently announced a partnership with Megabus, taking over all its routes in the area.
Peter Pan is one of the largest privately owned bus companies in the U.S., operating an all-MCI fleet of more than 200 coaches and making over 1,000 daily departures to more than 100 destinations across the Northeast.
"Peter Pan Bus Lines is growing fast by adding motor coaches, routes, drivers and amenities to better serve our customers in Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and other cities," said Peter A. Picknelly, Chairman and CEO of Peter Pan. Prevost's 100th Anniversary Celebration Culminates in Québec |

Thousands of Prevost employees, customers, suppliers, government officials and local dignitaries celebrated the 100th anniversary of Prevost. The gathering took place in Sainte-Claire, Québec, the small town where Eugène Prévost founded the company in 1924.
"The success of Prevost is due to our committed employees and loyal customers - many of whom have been with us for generations," said Prevost and Volvo Group Canada President François Tremblay. "The anniversary is an opportunity to recognize them while honoring the legacy of Eugène Prévost."
Prevost’s 100th Celebration
Additionally, 165 Prevost motorhome owners traveled hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of miles to Québec City to take part in a multi-day 100 Year Anniversary Rally the week prior. The Sept. 14 event was the culmination of nine months of activities that took place throughout Canada and the U.S. The 100th anniversary celebration in Sainte-Claire included.

School Bus Crash in Minnesota - Minor Injuries to 12 Students |

A RAV4 driver in Cherry, MN drove through a stop sign on Highway 5, and collided with a school bus the Duluth News Tribune reported. State Patrol is investigating.
Twelve students and both drivers were sent to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after the bus rolled. A news release stated that when first responders arrived, students were already crawling out of the bus on their own, but the SUV driver was trapped and had to be extricated. The students were headed to Cherry School, part of the St. Louis County Public Schools.
St. Louis County Sheriff Gordon Ramsay told Northern News Now that the bus collided at the intersection of Town Line Road and County Hwy. 5 between Hibbing and Cherry, causing the bus to roll. First responders implemented a "mass casualty" plan based on the potential volume of victims.
Northern News Now/KBJR reported 10 children were originally reported as injured, but that number has been upped to 12. Ten of those kids and the bus driver were transported to area hospitals, all with non-life-threatening injuries. The students were from Cherry School, a K-12....................
