From Bus & Motorcoach News:
When an NFL team needed transportation to Baltimore for a recent game, Starr Bus Charter & Tours offered a new luxury option: a pair of Napaway Premium Coaches. The team bypassed the usual hassle of airports, cramped seats on charter flights, and the logistical headache of multiple transfers. Instead, they boarded a coach that felt more like a private jet on wheels, with comfort and convenience built into every detail.
Starr's new Napaway coaches – outfitted with business-class seating that converts into full-flat beds – aren't just about getting passengers from point A to point B. They offer a seamless, premium travel experience that rivals, and often surpasses, what charter planes provide.
"This is a whole other level of service," said Pete Borowsky, President of Starr Bus Charter & Tours. "We've seen strong demand from clients looking for something beyond traditional offerings. Our coaches deliver that."..................................

From Bus & Motorcoach News:
Eagle Christian Tours has a long list of candidates in an industry that often struggles to find qualified commercial drivers.
Carson Roes, president of the Rome, Georgia-based motorcoach company, credits the list to Eagle Christian Tours' unique approach: emphasizing purpose, significance, and hospitality over simple transportation logistics. With over 100 candidates pouring in each month, less than 4% end up becoming an official, certified Host-Driver
- a job title the company uses to emphasize the importance of hospitality, as well as the ability to operate a motorcoach with excellence. This selective approach to new hires is critical to the company's commitment to exceptional service.
"It all starts with having a deep sense of purpose in what we do," Roes said. "Deep down, everybody wants to be part of something that matters, something significant. I think everybody wants to know that their work is making a difference in someone else's life.".................................

From School Transportation News:
The yellow school bus might be the most iconic way for students to get to school but the industry is also increasingly utilizing alternative vehicles in circumstances where a traditional school bus may not be able or be the best option to accommodate the route or students. "While it is always preferable that children ride on yellow school buses there are some areas and instances where this may not be possible," reads a statement paper the National Association for Pupil Transportation (NAPT) released earlier this year and ahead of the National Congress on School Transportation in May. "In such situations, it is crucial that children are transported in the safest possible vehicles and driven by qualified, trained, and well-regulated drivers."
The NAPT paper outlines the current emerging trend of alternative transportation and the association's recommendations to student transporters who are using vehicles other than the school bus. It notes the ongoing shortage of school bus drivers is a contributing factor to the increase of use of alternative vehicles.........................
