MCI Debuts Executive Seating with Delivery to Hebaragi & Lemi Bus |

Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc. and North America’s motorcoach leader — offering in-field technical expertise, 24/7 roadside assistance, and parts support — is bringing a new level of luxury to the U.S. market.
MCI has delivered its first J4500 coaches in the U.S. with factory-installed "2+1" executive seating, which provides passengers with significantly added space and comfort. The first units were delivered to Hebaragi & Lemi Bus, a charter operator in Gardena, CA, serving the Los Angeles market. While 2+1 executive seating has been available through aftermarket providers, MCI now offers the configuration factory-direct, eliminating the extra time and costs associated with third-party installation.

'Hershey RV Show' Reports Nearly 46,000 in Attendance |

The 56th annual America’s Largest RV Show, hosted by the Pennsylvania RV and Camping Association (PRVCA) at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pa., is in the rearview mirror.
As the "Hershey RV Show" wraps up another year of bringing all elements of the industry together, industry leaders are sharing their perspectives.
Heather Leach, PRVCA Executive Director, was very pleased with the turnout.
"From the association standpoint, we felt the show went very well," she said. "There were not any major hiccups. I talked to manufacturers and dealers, and they felt it was a mixed bag as far as sales. Some said their numbers were excellent and this was one of their best shows. ..................

2025 National School Transportation Specs, Procedures Manual Released |

The updated National School Transportation Specification and Procedures approved at the recent 17th National Congress on School Transportation is now available.
The National Association of State Directors of Pupil Transportation Services (NASDPTS) announced Wednesday the manual containing industry standards for operations, maintenance, school bus inspections, security, providing service for students with disabilities as well as infants and toddler, and more can be downloaded online. Mailed copies are expected to go out next week to state delegates and other interested parties who attended the 17th NCST proceedings in Des Moines, Iowa in May.
NASDPTS added that a limited number of copies are available for online ordering.
The delegates voted on proposed changes, ending discussions a half day earlier than scheduled. The manual had not been updated since 2015, due to the Congress postponement in 2020 due to COVID-19.......................................................
