Motor Coach Industries (MCI), a subsidiary of NFI Group Inc. (NFI), has announced the graduation of Joel Aguirre, a Technical Solutions Manager (TSM), from the MCI Academy Master Technician program. By completing the program, Aguirre is certified as an expert in all aspects of MCI motorcoach systems and support.
Aguirre has been with MCI since 2008 and brings more than 18 years of experience supporting customers across North America. In his role, he provides aftermarket technical support across the full MCI product line, including legacy and obsolete models, helping operators troubleshoot issues and keep their fleets running efficiently.
"This achievement highlights MCI's continued investment in developing internal technical expertise and ongoing education to better support North American customers in the field," according to a press release. "As a TSM, Aguirre plays a critical role in delivering real-time solutions and sharing knowledge that helps operators maintain uptime and performance across their fleets.".........................

Industry Veterans Launch TCM Coach Parts to Target Aftermarket Repair Savings |

After several years away from the motorcoach parts industry, Tim Ott was ready to return to the business he built his career around. Ott, a longtime manufacturer and entrepreneur in the aftermarket coach parts industry, said he saw an opportunity to create a company that focuses on helping operators reduce repair costs while improving product quality and turnaround times.
That vision led to the January launch of TCM Coach Parts LLC, which Ott co-founded with longtime industry colleague Charlie McCarron. The two are now partners in the business.
"It feels good to be back," Ott said. "It's like falling back into place."
The new company manufactures aftermarket thermal-formed and fiberglass replacement body parts for motorcoaches and transit buses. TCM supplies components for major manufacturers including MCI, Van Hool, Prevost, New Flyer and Gillig...............................
